This is the true nature of a Halfa, I think. They need both sides of themselves in order to exist & trying to do otherwise can only work for so long before leading to complications. Someone cannot live as half of a person & expect to live.
Though, I would've put the red oval in the Yang & a black version of the D in the Yin to represent how no matter which form he'd in, he'll always have a bit of the other in it too. Like, his ghost form will always have human qualities while his human form will always have ghostly qualities. The idea of balance has always been a nice one.
